The Schindler 7000 (formerly Schindler 700) is the current high-rise elevator products of Schindler worldwide.

Overview

Schindler 7000 is for commercial and residential buildings. They come in both single or double deck configurations, and could support Miconic 10 and SchindlerID (for older installations), and the PORT Technology destination dispatch system. They can travel up to 10 m/s and the limit on how high the Schindler 7000 elevators can go is 500 meters. The door operator and shaft door component are either supplied by Sematic Group or Wittur Group. This model was made from 2001 to present.

  • Gearless machine:
    • FM280-S: For capacity up to 1000 kg, travel height up to 150 m and speed up to 4 m/s.
    • FMR355: For capacity up to 2000 kg, travel height up to 180 m and speed up to 4 m/s.
    • FM560: For capacity up to 1800 kg, travel height up to 300 m and speed up to 10 m/s.
    • FM630: For capacity up to 2000 kg, travel height up to 500 m and speed up to 10 m/s.
    • FM710: For capacity up to 4000 kg, travel height up to 500 m and speed up to 10 m/s.
  • TX-GC or TX-GC2 controller
  • Variodyn-BR or Variodyn-PF1 inverter
  • Normally serves up to 64 floors, but other numbers of stops exists
  • 500 m travel distance
  • 2.5-10 m/s speed
  • 800-4000 kg capacity
  • Can be a single elevator, or a bank of elevators up to 8 cars.
  • Can be single or double deck elevator
  • PORT Technology supported as an optional feature

  • Serves up to 128 floors
  • 1640 ft. travel distance
  • 500-2000 FPM speed
  • 2500-8800lb. capacities
  • Different doors up to 2 speed
  • Can be a single elevator, or a bank of elevators up to 8 cars
  • Can be a single or double deck elevator
  • PORT Technology supported as an optional feature
