Schaefer GmbH is a German elevator component company that provides elevator components, mainly push buttons and elevator fixtures.

History

Schaefer was founded by engineer Wolfgang Schäfer in 1964 and at the same year the company produced their own elevator push buttons. In 1981, Werner Köpff began working at Schäfer and two years later the individual enterprise was transformed into Ing. Wolfgang Schaefer GmbH.
